WHITEVILLE — Whiteville Central defeated Elizabethtown 49-5 in Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ basketball action Tuesday night.
L. McLean and T. Rose led the Central scoring with 9 points each. J. J. High and Julian McLaney scored baskets for Elizabethtown, and Damian Maynor added a free throw.
The Cougars, now 2-2, will travel to Tabor City Thursday.
