Jake Garrison and Joseph Masaid scored 2 goals each to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 6-0 Bladen Five Middle School Conference boys soccer victory over Bladenboro Thursday at County Park.
In the 8th minute, Joseph Masaid blasted in a penalty kick from outside the box for the first Blue Devil goal. Nine minutes Garrett Masaid tallied an unassisted goal to pad the Clarkton lead to 2-0. Three minutes later Joseph Masaid boosted the lead to 3-0 with his second goal of the match.
Garrett Melvin delivered a goal in the 36th minute that stretched the CSD lead to 4-0. Three minutes later Garrison cracked the scoring column with his first goal of the game that upped the count to 5-0.
Andrew Cahn set up another Garrison goal with an assist in the 48th minute.
The Blue Devils improved to 3-0 with the victory.
