BLADENBORO – Tabor City turned 3 Bladenboro fumbles into 22 second-half points en route to a 30-6 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs mounted a drive late in the first half that reached the Tabor City one yardline, but a fourth down play was thrown for a loss and the half ended in a scoreless tie.

Tabor City boomed the second-half kick-off over the head of the Bulldogs return men, and Bladenboro started their drive on their own seven yardline. Two plays later a fumble squirted into the end zone and Tabor City recovered for a touchdown and a 6-0 lead.

The Bulldogs fumbled the second half kick-off, and the Eagles punched in another touchdown for a 14-0 lead.

Bladenboro regrouped and drove the ball 65 yards for a touchdown. The drive featured the running of Gary Parker who charged into the end zone from 2 yards out for the touchdown that trimmed the Eagle lead to 14-6 in the final minute of the third quarter.

Tabor City busted a long run for a touchdown and a 22-6 lead. Bladenboro answered with a drive that reached the Eagle 25 yardline, but another fumble was scooped up by the Eagles and returned 67 yards for a touchdown.

The Bulldogs will play Williams next week.
