CLARKTON–Whiteville rallied for 24 points in the second half to defeat Clarkton School of Discovery 36-20 Tuesday night in Waccamaw Middle School Conference action.
Clarkton built a 14-12 first-half lead before the Hornets rallied for the victory.
Nyquan Richardson scored two of the Clarkton touchdowns. Samaj Dove ran for the other Blue Devil touchdown, and quarterback Lee Barnes carried into the end zone for a pair of 2-point conversions.
The Blue Devils will battle Tabor City next Tuesday night.
