TAR HEEL – Jenna King poured in 13 of her game-high 22 points in the 1st half to lead East Columbus to a 22-2 halftime lead and eventual 35-10 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ basketball victory over Tar Heel Monday night.
Leidi Zuniga scored the only Tar Heel basket in the 1st half. Jahyrah Priest threw in a pair of 2nd half baskets and led the Lady Panther scoring with 4 points. Zuniga sank a free throw, and Jasmine Robeson drained a 3-point shot in the 2nd half for Tar Heel.
Malia Graham scored 9 points for the East Columbus.
Tar Heel will host West Columbus Tuesday at 4 p.m.
