HARRELLS – Harrells Christian raced to a 20-5 halftime lead then held on to defeat Emereau Bladen 28-25 in middle school girls’ basketball action Monday.
Mary Willow Rumbold and Riley Dixon threw in 3 baskets each for the Lady Crusaders in the 1st quarter, and teammate Gracelyn Bowles popped in 4 more baskets in the 2nd period.

Tatum Allen blistered the nets with 19 points for Emereau Bladen and bombed in five 3-point baskets in the game – four in the 2nd half. Jenna Brice, Taylor Dowless and Kavejah Bethea scored 2 points each for the Lady Aviators.
Dixon led Harrells with 10 points, Bowles followed with 8 points, and Rumbold added 6.
The Lady Aviators will return to action on January, 4th at Wilmington Christian.
