LAKE WACCAMAW – Ashley Sandoval fired in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Tuesday to lead Tar Heel to a 5-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer victory over East Columbus.
Sandoval’s ‘Hat Trick’ accounted for the 1st 3 goals of the game and staked the Lady Panthers to a 3-0 lead. Abigail Dew knocked in a goal to push the lead to 4-0. Oasis Labra drilled in the final Tar Heel goal.
Dew and Serenity Council split time in goal and combined to record the shutout for the Panthers.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Lady Panthers improved to 4-1 and will travel to Nakina Thursday.
