FAYETTEVILLE – Jenna Brice and Tatum Allen combined to pitch a 3-hitter and Emereau Bladen rolled to a 19-1 victory over Freedom Christian Thursday in middle school softball action.
Brice struck out the side in a scoreless 1st inning and allowed 1 walk. Tatum Allen pitched the next 2 innings and allowed a run on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3 batters.
The Lady Aviators jumped in front with 6 runs in the 1st inning then added 9 runs in the 2nd inning and 4 more in the 3rd inning. Brice batted 2-3 with a walk and scored 2 runs. Skyler Allen slammed a double, was hit by a pitch and scored 3 runs.
Tatum Allen, Greer Pope, Gracey Clark and Rylee Usher smacked 1 hit each for the winners. Tatum Allen, Pope, Emmy Bryant, Usher, Anna Robinson and Koreigh Everette drew 2 walks each. Bristol Allen walked once in the game.
Pope and Clark scored 3 runs each. Bryant and Usher scored 2 runs each. Tatum Allen, Bristol Allen, Robinson and Everette scored 1 run each.
