CLARKTON – Clarkton School of Discovery, Bladenboro and Elizabethtown split their Waccamaw Middle School Conference volleyball matches Monday with each team winning a match and losing one.
Clarkton School of Discovery defeated Bladenboro 2-0 in the day’s opening match by set scores of 25-13 and 25-17. The Lady Bulldogs battled back to defeat Elizabethtown 2-1 in the second match of the day by set scores of 25-18, 15-25 and 15-12.
Elizabethtown rallied for a 2-1 victory over Clarkton in the final match of the day by set scores of 19-25, 25-20 and 16-14.
The Lady Blue Devils, now 6-3 on the season, will travel to Hallsboro on Thursday for matches against Tabor City and Hallsboro.
Elizabethtown will host West Columbus and Williams Township on Thursday, and Bladenboro will entertain Nakina and Whiteville Central on Thursday.
