The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated listing of road closings and openings due to repairs.
CLOSINGS:
NC 53 (Near White Oak)
NC 53 West is closed toward White Oak for a bridge replacement at Ellis Creek. A signed detour is in place. This will remain closed for several weeks.
Singletary Mill Pond Road
Singletary Mill Pond Road is closed in both directions due to a bridge approach failure. There is no estimated time when this road will reopen.
Johnsontown Road
Johnsontown Road is closed at Bridge 169 located east of NC 242 due to an approach failure caused by floodwaters. The bridge is being replaced. For a detour use NC2 42 to Sweet Home Church Road to Bladen Lakes School Road.
US 701
A lane shift is in place for shoulder closure and to move southbound traffic to northbound bridge for the purpose of debris removal from under the southbound Cape Fear River bridge. An 11-foot lane restriction is in place in this section. A contractor is to remove debris.

Airport Road closed on Monday, January 14, 2018, at 8:00 a.m. thru Friday, January 18, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. This will be closed for cross line repair. 0.32 Mi. N of Gibson Dairy Road and 0.40 Mi. N. of Coley Road.

Airport Road
Airport Road will be closing starting Tuesday, January 22, 2018 at 8:00 am thru Friday, January 24, 2018 at 5:00 pm. This will be closed for cross line repair. 0.32 Gibson Dairy Road and 0.08 Mi. N. of Coley Road.
NC 11
NC 11 both directions West of Kelly will be closed starting Tuesday, January 22, 2019 thru February 22, 2019. This will be closing 0.2 miles north of Natmore Road. The road will be closed 24 hours a day during the duration of project. This is closed for pipe replacement. There will be a signed detour Bladen County: Natmore Road to Pender County: Sykes Town Rd. to Cain Tuck Rd. to Bladen County: Cain Tuck Road. to NC 11.
