CREEDMOOR – Falls Lake Academy, the No. 1 seed in Class 1A East, defeated No. 32 seed East Bladen 3-0 Saturday in the opening round of the NCHSAA Class 1A state volleyball playoffs.
It was the final game for 5 East Bladen seniors (pictured above with Coach Jordan Raynor, from left) – Rylee Brice, Molly Evans, Karly Ross, Zoe Smith and Dyiamon Robinson.
The Lady Eagles finished with a 4-17 record.
