Dixie Youth BaseballZamar Lewis blasted two home runs to lead Elizabethtown to a 12-2 victory over West Robeson National Sunday in the North Carolina Dixie Youth Baseball Minors State Tournament at Lillington.

Lewis batted a perfect 3-3 with 2 home runs, a double and 2 runs scored to lead the Elizabethtown hitters.

Coleman Tatum walloped a home run in the fifth inning that ended the game on the ten-run rule and finished 3-4 at the plate with the home run and 2 runs scored.

Evan Pait and Walker Ward slammed 2 hits each and scored one run each for the winners. Garrison Tatum, Jackson Wright, Elijah Bullard and Tyler Johnson belted one hit each.

Garrison Tatum scored 2 runs, and Wright, Bullard, Tyler Johnson and Jake Futrell all scored one run each for Elizabethtown.

Bullard started on the mound and pitched the first three innings to pick up the win. Ward came on in relief and worked the final 2 innings on the hill for Elizabethtown.

Elizabethtown will play Reidsville Monday at 4 p.m. in another elimination game.
