Dublin_Motor_Speedway_550_425The Pure Stock division will be racing for a $600 top prize in the featured race Saturday, June 4, at Dublin Motor Speedway. That’s double the standard $300-to-win award.

Ryan Gilbert has been the class of the Pure Stock field at Dublin this season. He’s won four of the seven races and finished second twice. His worst finish was 12th in the season-opening non-points race April 2. Since then, Gilbert has driven the car to beat and has opened an 18-point lead in the division’s season-long points race over Robbie Wiliams, 238-220. Williams hasn’t won a race at Dublin this season, but has finished among the top six in all of the points races.

Races also will be held in the Late Model, Open-Wheel Modified, Super Street and U-Car divisions. The infield gate will open at 4 p.m. with grandstands open at 5 p.m. Practice is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. with qualifying and  racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens and military, $8 for ages 13 to 18, and free for ages 12 and under. Infield admission is $25 for adults, $10 for ages 6 to 12, and free for ages 5 and under.
