Cade Allen and Hezekiah Blanks-Adams connected for 3 hits each to lead the Red to a 12-2 victory over the Black Friday night in Bladen Recreation 13-14 baseball action.

Allen batted 3-4 with a triple and a double, and Blanks-Adams finished 3-4 at the plate. Teammate Jonah Bryan turned in a 2-3 night at the plate.

Blanks-Adams cracked a single and scored in the 1st inning, and the Red pulled away with 5 runs in the 2nd inning. Luke Howell and Bryan started the inning with singles, and Conner Smith drew a walk. Howell scored, and Richard Severine knocked in Bryan and Smith with a double. Blanks-Adams and Allen belted singles, and scored as Lee Barnes reached base and Howell walked.

Coley Sasser and Andrew Musselwhite reached base in the Black 3rd inning, and Sasser scored to trim the lead to 6-1.

Allen hammered a triple to begin a 6-run, 4th inning for the Red. Matthew Kemp slammed a triple that scored Allen. Barnes reached base and scored a run, Howell walked, and Bryan smacked another single that scored Howell. Smith and Severine both reached base and scored runs. Blanks-Adams delivered another single and raced home when Allen smashed a double.

Parker Greene walloped a triple and scored a run for the Black in the 4th inning.

Barnes struck out 4 and hit a batter in his 2 hitless innings on the mound for the Red. Howell struck out 2 batters and allowed a run in his 1 inning on the hill. Smith pitched an inning and gave up a run on 1 hit.

Greene struck out 2 batters in his 2 innings on the mound for the Black, and Caison Brixey struck out one in his 2 innings of work.
