According to West Bladen Basketball and Coach Travis Pait registration is still open for the Lil’ Knights Basketball Camp that will run from Monday thru Wednesday (July 6-8) and will be sponsored by Woodmen of the World Life Insurance.
The camp will be for boys and girls from rising first-graders to rising sixth-graders and will run from 8 a.m. to noon each day, with campers expected to be dropped off at 7:30 a.m. and picked up at 12:30 p.m.
Same day registration will be available from 7:30–8 a.m. at West Bladen High. Cost is $40 for the first participant, $70 for two and $90 for three.
The camp will consist skill demonstrations, drills, contests and games — all led by high school coaches and college players.
Campers will use 8-foot goals for grades 1-3 and 9-foot for grades 4-6. Snacks will be available for purchase in the canteen daily.
