One of the largest crowds of the season gathered at Timberlake Golf Course in Clinton to play in the August 23 Southeastern Fellowship Senior’s Golf Association Tourney. 69 players teed it up in this weekly tournament.
The winning team, with a score of 52, was Rodney Storms, Lewis Sauls, Elmer Tessenear and Jeff Wrenn. In second place, with a score of 53, was Rudy Pait, Mickey Brisson, Gordon Graham and Richard Smith.
The August 30 tournament will be held at The Bayonet Golf Course near Raeford. Any senior golfer interested in playing should call Linwood Hedgepeth at 910-734-7161.
