TAR HEEL – Cornelius Esters and Violet Allen were named the Athletes of the Year for 2019-2020 at Tar Heel Middle School as the Panthers released their yearend athletic awards Tuesday.
Esters was chosen as the Male Athlete of the Year, and Allen selected as the Female Athlete of the Year. Allen was also honored as the Most Valuable Panther for Volleyball and the Most Improved Panther in girls’ basketball.
