Hopefully little or no accumulation, but could be slick spots on some roadways. 100 percent chance of precipitation. The forecast does not change much through Saturday night. Could produce 1 to 2 inches of precipitation before ending Saturday evening. Drive with care.
No school today, that I am aware of. So many different schools systems today? Not sure.

Stock market offered some hope Thursday for better days. The first 3 weeks of the new year have been a disaster on world-wide stock exchanges.
I remember how much I enjoyed days like today as a youngster, heck anything that closed schools was a good day, I thought. I forgot that my school teachers and fellow students were often easier to deal with than mom and my siblings. How long can 6 youngsters play checkers and monopoly, or do homework, and not get fussy?
The trouble with learning from experience is that you never graduate.
All those years of getting horrible elementary school pictures was just society’s way of preparing you for your driver’s license photo.
A New Year’s resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other.
