West Bladen/Whiteville Play-in Game Saturday
Three Rivers Conference President David Smith announced Thursday that the remainder of the conference basketball tournament has been cancelled. With some member schools being closed on Friday due to the winter storm and with the NCHSAA playoff brackets being announced Sunday, the tournament could not be completed.
There will be a girls ‘play-in’ game at East Columbus between West Bladen and Whiteville Saturday at 1 p.m. to determine 3rd and 4th place in the regular conference standings.
