ANDERSON, SC – Former West Bladen star Trevor Lesane batted 2-for-3 and started Erskine’s winning rally with a walk as the Flying Fleet edged Anderson University Saturday in the first game of a double-header.

 

With the score tied 3-3, Lesane drew a walk to begin Anderson’s winning 7th inning rally. He was forced at second base on Cody Forster’s grounder, but Forster came around to score the go-ahead run on Dayan Reinos single.

 

Lesane belted a single to left centerfield in the 8th inning. The Tar Heel native also drew a walk in the nightcap of the double-header that Anderson won 4-2.

 

The Flying Feet are now 11-7 on the season and will host a 4-game series with Belmont Abbey beginning Friday at 11 a.m.

 

Lesane is now batting .341 with 9 runs scored, 10 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .415.
