Robbie Turner earned the checkered flag Saturday at Dublin Motor Speedway and moved into a tie with Randy Guyton atop the division’s season points standings with five races remaining. Guyton finished fourth in Saturday’s race. It was Turner’s first win this season at the Rattlesnake.
Open Wheel Modifieds points leader John Marshall extended his lead to a commanding 185 points by winning Saturday’s race.
In Saturday’s other races, Jerry Johnson won in Super Street for the 10th time this season, Jimmy Capps became the 10th different winner in Pure Stock, Joey Wilkes took the checkered flag in U-Car, and Eddie Daniels won for the 13th consecutive time in a special Legends race at Dublin.
The next racing show at Dublin is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19. The featured race will be a 40-lap, $4,000 to win Super Late Model event as well as a $1,500 to win Limited Late Model race.
The Ultimate Super Late Model series is scheduled to return to Dublin for a sanctioned race on Oct. 10.
