CLINTON – Clinton defeated East Bladen 3-0 Monday in non-conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-17, 25-10 and 25-15.

Sophmore Cheylee Mathis led the East Bladen attack with 5 service points. Senior Sarah Johnson and junior Adrienne Howell fired in 4 service points each. Juniors Cybil Campbell and Lorna Mendell tallied 2 service points each.

The Lady Eagles have been plagued by injuries since the beginning of the season. “We still had two varsity players out with injuries today,” said Coach Sara Ward.
