ELIZABETHTOWN- East Bladen swept St. Pauls 3-0 Tuesday night in their Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball regular season finale by set scores of 25-16, 25-6 and 25-17.

Senior AnnaGrey Heustess hammered in seven kills, two aces and two blocks to lead the Lady Eagle attack. Senior Acee Campbell pounded in six kills, three aces and had an assist. Senior Maegan Burney slammed in six kills, three aces and had two digs.

Senior Karli Priest passed out 17 assists to key the East Bladen offense and smacked in four aces. Senior Trinity Cromartie drilled in four aces, three kills and had a dig. Senior Emma Turbeville totaled three digs, an assist and a kill.

Sophomore Miriam DeVane fired in five kills and had an assist for East. Junior Dyiamon Robinson knocked in two kills and two blocks, and senior Cydney Campbell belted in a kill and a block.

It was Senior Night for the Eagles. Before the game, Turbeville, Heustess, Priest, Cromartie, Cydney Campbell, Acee Campbell and Burney were recognized for their time with the program.

Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Eagles raised their record to 9-3 in the SAC-7 and 12-6 overall.

East Bladen finished in second place in the conference and will now wait for the NCHSAA state playoff brackets to be released Thursday to find out its opponent for Saturday’s opening round of play.
