LAKE WACCAMAW – West Bladen outlasted East Columbus 3-2 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 18-25, 28-26, 25-15, 12-25 and 16-14.

“It was an intense game,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis. “Both teams played great. We just happened to push harder and came through with a win.”

Junior Raegan Davis slammed in 16 kills, 6 aces, a block, 5 service points and came up with 11 digs. Senior Patience Parker knocked in 8 kills, an ace, 2 service points and had 7 digs.

Senior Mikayla Winebarger pounded in 8 kills, 2 service points, a block and was credited with 9 digs. Senior Elizabeth Allbright slammed in 7 kills, 2 aces, a service point and had 2 digs. Junior Caroline Davis led the defense with 20 digs.

Sophmore Lexie Corrothers drilled in 4 kills and contributed 4 digs. Senior Alise Pait totaled 5 digs, a kill and a service point. Senior Madison Collins collected 2 digs and a kill, and junior Callie Lewis added a kill and a dig.

West Bladen is scheduled to travel to Clinton Monday for a non-conference game Monday.
