West Bladen rallied in the final two sets to win a hard-fought Four County Conference volleyball match 3-2 over Heide Trask Tuesday night in Rocky Point by set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 16-25, 25-19 and 15-9.
Juniors Logan Autry and Morgan Schumacher both recorded double-doubles for West in the match. Autry dished out 15 assists and tallied 10 service points, 8 kills and 4 aces.
Schumacher hammered in 12 kills, 10 service points, 5 blocks and an ace. Junior Kassidy Anderson poured in 16 service points, 4 kills, 3 aces and had 2 digs.
Senior Lorna Smith pounded in 8 kills, 9 service points, 3 aces and had one assist for the winners. Junior Kathryn Schultz fired in 9 service points, 3 aces, 6 kills, a block and had one dig.
Junior Laikyn Pait knocked in 5 kills, 2 aces, 4 service points, a block and was credited with 2 assists for the Lady Knights. Teammate Kaylee Stevens added one dig.
The Lady Knights improve to 6-10 on the season and will travel to Pender Thursday.
