Thursday’s soaking rains have created more sports postponements. Friday’s Whiteville at East Bladen baseball and softball games have been postponed and rescheduled for March 25th. The East Bladen at Whiteville varsity softball and baseball games are still scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Friday’s West Bladen at Fairmont baseball and softball doubleheaders have been postponed. West Bladen will travel to Fairmont Monday with jayvee baseball and softball beginning at 4 p.m. followed by varsity softball at 6:30 and varsity baseball at 7 p.m. A decision on when to play the Fairmont at West Bladen softball and baseball games will be made next week.
West Bladen softball will travel to Hoke County Saturday for a varsity game at 1 p.m. with the jayvee softball game to follow immediately.
The Harrells Christian at Elizabethtown Middle baseball game that was rained out Thursday will not be made up. The Clarkton School of Discovery at Tar Heel baseball and softball scrimmage games that were rained out Thursday will be played Monday beginning at 4 p.m.
