GASTONIA – Bladen County won two of their three games Saturday in the StateWide Activities Committee’s 10U Girls State Soccer Tournament.
Bladen County opened play Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Elkin then edged Belmont 2-1 in their second game. Fuquay Varina defeated Bladen County 9-0 Saturday evening.
Bladen County will conclude bracket play Sunday at 9 a.m. against Wilson. Semi-final action will begin at 11:30 with the championship game slated for 2 p.m.
