Three Bladen County boys that play baseball together at East Bladen High School have been invited by Hope Mills to play in the World Series in Alabama. Fredy Wooten, Brady Hollingsworth, and Zachary Meares will play in the World Series scheduled July 25 through July 29 with opening ceremonies on July 24.
There has been a GoFund Me account made. Money raised will be split between the three of them to help pay for travel, lodging, and meals. Bladen County will not have a team, so these three will be representing their county in Alabama. Anyone that knows them, knows their love for the game and they will make Bladen County Proud!
