Assistant Coach Chuck Heustess coached the Eagles Wednesday night as Coach Kenzil McCall had to attend a mandatory job-related workshop.

“Although we couldn’t keep stats, Eian (Hines) had to have a 20-20 night in points and rebounds,” said Coach Heustess. “Xavier did a great job boxing out their big men to allow others to rebound. Demetrius and Denzel shot extremely well.”

“We passed the ball great,” continued Heustess. “Cape Fear is very athletic with their whole team together. We made a lot of progress on both ends tonight. Hopefully we can build on it.”

Myron Williams followed Baldwin with 21 points for the Colts. George finished with 16 points, and Moore added 15 points.

East Bladen will host Union Friday night in a Four County Conference game.
