LELAND – Five different players scored goals as North Brunswick defeated West Bladen 6-0 Monday night in non-conference boys’ soccer action.
Freshman Leyton Ohmer recorded the shutout in goal for the Scorpions and was credited with 4 saves. North scored 3 goals in each half.
Junior Bryant Ortiz-Aguilar keyed the Knight defense with 5 steals. Juniors Kevyn De La Cruz Labra and Brady Durden and seniors Walker Barkley and Eddie Labra all were credited with 4 steals each.
Senior Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez had 7 saves in goal for the Knights, and junior Cade Allen had 3 saves.
The Knights, now 1-4, will travel to Lumberton Wednesday night.
