Elizabethtown native Chris Cromartie turned in a solid season on the defensive line for Campbell this season and totaled 41 tackles for the Camels.

Cromartie played in all 11 Campbell games and started 4 games. The redshirt junior assisted on 30 tackles, made 11 solo tackles, recovered a fumble and was credited with 3 tackles-for-loss for minus 4 yards.

Against No. 11 ranked Kennesaw State, Cromartie made 2 solo tackles, assisted on 2 other tackles and had one tackle-for-loss. The East Bladen grad recovered a 4th quarter fumble that set up the touchdown that pulled the Camels to within 31-28. Kennesaw State eventually pulled out a 38-35 victory.

In a start against No. 15 Monmouth, Cromartie turned in his best game of the season with 10 tackles – 2 solo – and a tackle-for-loss for minus 3 yards. The 6-4, 325-pounder closed out the season with 4 tackles – 2 solo – and a tackle-for-loss in a start against Charleston Southern.

The Camels finished the season with a 6-5 record and earned 4th place in the Big South Conference with a 3-3 record.
