A 5-run fifth inning propelled the Blue Jays to a 10-7 victory over the Twins Monday night in Elizabethtown Minor League baseball action.

Collin Cole hammered a run-scoring triple to ignite the winning Blue Jay rally, and Torrean Cogdell knocked in Cole with a single.

Cole finished with a perfect 2-2 game at the plate with the rbi triple and 2 runs scored. Cogdell batted 2-3 with a triple, a run batted in and 2 runs scored.

Teammate Isaiah Lee slammed a 2-run first-inning double and finished 2-3 at the plate with 3 runs scored. Pitcher Jackson Smith belted an rbi single and scored a run. Teammates Coley Sasser and John Monroe scored one run each for the Blue Jays.

Smith started on the mound for the Blue Jays who recorded 14 strike-outs in the game. Tyler Lewis started on the hill for the Twins who chalked up 10 strike-outs in the game.

Tyler Lewis walloped a triple and scored twice for the Twins. Teammate Davion Lewis added a single and scored 3 runs. Braylon Cromartie walked twice and scored twice for the Twins.
