ST PAULS – Senior Jakieya Thompson recorded a triple-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals and also handed out 6 assists to lead St. Pauls to a 75-20 victory over West Bladen Tuesday night in Southeastern Athletic Conference girls basketball action.

Thompson filled up the rims with 7 baskets in the 1st quarter as the Lady Bulldogs raced to a 27-4 lead.Junior teammate Jashonte Harris fired in five 3-point shots in the game and finished with 23 points and 8 assists. Aniyah Easterling contributed 8 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 steals, and Juliana Bell added 6 points and 8 rebounds.

Senior Rylee Chadwick sank 4 1st half free throws and added a basket to lead the Lady Knights with 6 points. Senior Lainey Autry and junior Brookee Singletary threw in 2 baskets each in the 1st half and finished with 4 points each.

Sophomore Alina Chavez powered in a basket and a free throw before halftime for her 3 points. Senior Kirsten Warrick tossed in a 3rd quarter basket, and sophomore Holland Davis netted a free throw.

West Bladen, now 1-4 in SAC-7 play and 8-6 overall, will host Midway Friday night. St. Pauls remained unbeaten in the SAC-7 at 5-0 and is 11-3 overall. The Lady Bulldogs will visit East Bladen Friday night.
