ELIZABETHTOWN – Freshman Maya McDonald fired in a pair of goals to lead unbeaten East Bladen to a 3-0 Three Rivers Conference girls soccer victory over South Columbus Monday night.

The teams battled to a scoreless tie in the first half, before junior Sydney Wober drilled in a penalty kick in the 44th minute to put the Lady Eagles ahead 1-0.

Five minutes later McDonald knocked in her first goal. In the 55th minute McDonald struck again with a goal that boosted the East Bladen lead to 3-0.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles improved to 9-0 in the TRC and 12-0 overall. East Bladen will travel to East Columbus Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game.
