Harrells Christian Academy Varsity Boys defeated Fayetteville Christian School 77-38 in a Saturday game to capture the CRC Conference Tournament Title.
The Crusaders led 27-8 after the first quarter and held a 51-18 lead at halftime.
C.J. Kirchoff scored 24 points and pulled down 5 rebounds to lead HCA.  Quate McKinzie added 16 points and 8 rebounds.  Marcus Scarborough scored 13 point and Donta Chavious added 11 more for the winners.
McKinzie was named the Conference Player of the Year and picked up the Tournament MVP award.  Kirchoff, Marcus and Tyshii Scarborough were named to the All Tournament and All Conference Team.  Spencer Cooke was named to the All Conference team.  Head Coach Clayton Hall was named the CRC Conference Coach of the Year.
The HCA Varsity boys are the #12 seed for the NCISAA 2A playoffs.  Play begins Tuesday at Freedom Christian Academy in Fayetteville.  HCA boys record to date is 18-3 overall and 12-0 in conference play.
Fayetteville Christian Varsity Girls 35- HCA 13
The HCA Varsity girls lost to Fayetteville Christian 35-13.  The Lady Crusaders fell behind early and trailed 12-6 at halftime.  Emily Benton led the Lady Crusaders in scoring with 9 points.
HCA girls are the #11 seed for the NCISAA 2A tournament.  Play begins Tuesday at Asheville Christian School.
HCA JV Girls 23 Arendell Parrott Academy 13
The HCA JV girls defeated Arendell Parrott Academy of Kinston 23-13 in a Saturday contest.  Ashlynn Hardison was named the Tournament MVP and Ashlynn Hardison and Tyler Evans were named to the All-Tournament team.HCA
