Three West Bladen teams start their fall seasons Monday, and two East Bladen teams begin their seasons on Tuesday as high school athletics officially start a new year this week.
School will not begin for students until August 29th, but most of the fall sports seasons will be in full swing long before then.
Monday West Bladen’s volleyball team will host St. Pauls at 4:30, and the women’s tennis team will travel to Fairmont for a 4 p.m. match. The men’s soccer team will entertain West Columbus in a 5 p.m. match.
Tuesday East Bladen’s men’s soccer team hosts East Columbus at 4:30, and the Lady Eagle volleyball team has a home match with East Columbus that also starts at 4:30.
Football kicks off Thursday night when the East Bladen jayvees travel to South Columbus for a 6:30 game. Friday the Eagle varsity will host South Columbus at 7 p.m.
The West Bladen football varsity will travel to South Robeson Friday night for an Endowment game that kicks-off at 7:30. The West Bladen football jayvees do not play until an August 25th home game against South Brunswick.
