LAKE WACCAMAW – East Columbus built a 25-16 halftime lead en route to a 40-28 non-conference jayvee boys basketball victory over West Bladen Friday night.
Kelcey Robinson pumped in a couple of 1st half baskets for the Knights, and Noah Hall and Cornelius Esters sank 3 free throws each. Hall also muscled in a basket.
Hall led the Knight scoring with 8 points. Robinson nailed a 3-point shot in the final period and finished with 7 points. Esters totaled 5 points, and Garrett Dunham scored 4 points.
The Knight jayvees will now be idle until January.
