WHITEVILLE — Kamari Smith poured in 24 points, and Whiteville raced to leads of 21-7 and 36-8 en route to a 62-23 Waccamaw Conference jayvee boys’ basketball victory over East Bladen Friday.
Cody Rice tallied 12 points for the Wolfpack, and Corey Faison and Rudy Jernigan scored 7 points each.
Sophomore Dashawn Campbell fired in 5 baskets and 2 free throws for his 12 points that led the Eagle scoring. Torrean Cogdell finished with 4 points for East.
East Bladen, now 3-2 in the Waccamaw and 5-6 overall, will visit South Columbus Tuesday.
