LAKE WACCAMAW – East Columbus defeated West Bladen 22-8 Thursday night in non-conference junior varsity football action. Freshman Justin Spaulding raced 53 yards for the Knight touchdown, and Elijah McCollum ran the 2-point conversion.
The Knight jayvees will host Clinton Thursday in their Southeastern Athletic Conference opener.
