TABOR CITY- Guard Mariah Smith threw in 6 points to lead a 12-4 second-half surge that propelled East Bladen to a 17-10 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over South Columbus Friday.

Teammates Shanell McMillian and Merritt Martin tossed in 4 points each for the winners.

Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles evened their conference record at 1-1. East Bladen is 1-2 overall and will host Red Springs Tuesday.
