Freshman Conner Brisson fired in 12 points Tuesday to lead West Bladen’s jayvee girls to a 43-10 Four County Conference basketball victory over Pender in Burgaw.
Coach Joe Lewis’ Lady Knights remained atop the Four County jayvee girls standings with a 5-1 league record and a 6-5 overall mark.
Brisson, Mireyo Sandoval and Delvondra Johnson bombed in 3-point shots to lead the West Bladen offense. Nhykila Richardson finished with 8 points for the Lady Knights, and Sandoval followed with 6 points.
Johnson and Indiyah Williams tallied 5 points each for the winners.
Midway has dissolved their jayvee girls team, so the Lady Knights will be idle until Thursday Feb. 11 at East Bladen.
