Sophmore Indiyah Williams and freshman Conner Brisson fired in 13 points each to lead West Bladen to a 56-11 Four County Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over visiting Pender Wednesday.

Nhykila Richardson threw in 6 of her 8 points in the first quarter as the Lady Knights raced to an 11-2 lead.

Williams sparked a 14-0 second quarter blitz with 7 points. Brittany Shaw bombed in a 3-point shot as the Lady Knight lead grew to 25-2 at halftime.

Williams tallied 4 more points in the third period, and teammate Anna Moser drained a 3-point shot as the Lady Knights widened the gap to 36-7.

Brisson drilled in a 3-point shot and dropped in 7 points in the fourth quarter. Moser and Delvonda Johnson buried the 3-point shots in the period.

Sophmores Mikayla Winebarger and Moser finished with 6 points each for West Bladen.

Coach Joe Lewis’ Lady Knights improved to 2-4 overall and are 1-0 in the Four County Conference.
