BLADENBORO – East Columbus defeated West Bladen 18-3 Tuesday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee softball action.
The Lady Knights scored all three of their runs in the second inning. Pitcher Taylor West was hit by a pitch, and Kaylee Page reached base on an error. Briley Stanley belted a single to centerfield that scored West. Page scored on Kayla Norris’ fielder’s choice. Ryleigh Bailey smacked a single to centerfield that scored Stanley.
Stanley, Page, Bailey and Amelia Brisson connected for one hit each for the Lady Knights. Stanley, Norris and Bailey drove in one run each, and West, Page and Stanley scored one run each.
West Bladen will travel to St. Pauls Thursday.
