DUBLIN – Freshman righthander Jenna Bullard pitched a 5-inning no-hitter and struck out 8 batters Thursday to lead Whiteville to a 14-0 non-conference jayvee softball victory over West Bladen.

Sophmore Erica McKoy drew a walk leading off the fourth inning to account for the only West Bladen base-runner in the game.

Freshman Elizabeth Wyatt hammered a triple and finished 2-4 at the plate to lead the Whiteville hitters. Sophmore Carrie Ann Wilkins batted 2-4 for the Lady Wolfpack.

West Bladen pitcher Brittany Landreth allowed ten hits and five walks. Seven errors hampered the Lady Knight cause.

West Bladen is now 5-5 on the season and will host Pender Tuesday at 4 p.m.
