FAIRMONT – East Bladen rallied to take the decisive third set and claimed a 2-1 Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball victory Monday over Fairmont by set scores of 25-14, 22-25 and 15-12.

Freshman Maegan Burney lit up the scoreboard with 11 service points in the first set and totaled 14 service points and a kill for the winners. Freshman AnnaGrey Heustess blasted in 11 kills and 3 service points.

Freshman Karli Priest hammered in 4 aces and 9 service points for the Lady Eagles. Cheyanne Merritt fired in 5 aces and 8 service points. Freshman Emma Turbeville drilled in 3 service points and a kill.

Sophomore Merritt Martin belted in 3 service points and an ace for East, and Cydney Campbell slammed in 2 aces and a kill.

The East Bladen jayvees raised their record to 9-5 in league play and 11-6 overall.
