BLADENBORO – South Columbus won the final two sets and defeated West Bladen 2-1 Wednesday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-21, 24-26 and 15-9.
Freshman Hannah Pait blasted in 11 kills and 4 service points to lead the Lady Knights. Sophmore Alyssa Suggs drilled in 4 aces, 5 service points, a kill and had 2 digs. Ashlyn Cox hammered in 4 service points, 2 aces, 2 kills and had 5 digs.
Taylor West knocked in 4 kills, 5 service points, 2 aces and had 2 digs for the Lady Knights. Freshman Lauren Pait was credited with a team-high 10 digs, an ace and a service point. Caroline Brisson contributed 7 digs and a service point.
Olivia Allen collected 8 digs for the Lady Knights, and freshman Savannah Turbeville slammed in 2 kills.
West Bladen will host East Columbus Monday.
