FAIRMONT – West Bladen swept Fairmont 2-0 Tuesday in Southeastern Athletic Conference junior varsity volleyball action by set scores of 25-22 and 25-17.
Maddie Walters hammered in 5 aces, 4 kills and 2 service points to lead the Lady Knights. Kaitlyn Brisson fired in 6 service points and 2 aces. Shanyla Hunter drilled in 6 service points and an ace.
Kylie Durden knocked in 3 aces, a service point and had a dig for West Bladen. Marlie Walters slammed in a kill, an ace and 2 service points. Marlene Crabtree knocked in a kill.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights are unbeaten in conference play with a 2-0 record and improved to 4-1 overall. West Bladen will host Red Springs Wednesday.
