BLADENBORO – West Bladen finished their junior varsity volleyball season Saturday morning with a 2-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference victory over Red Springs by set scores of 25-16 and 25-14.
Trinity Meares pounded in 7 service points, 5 kills, 2 aces, a block and had 1 assist for the Lady Knights. Jenna McLean blistered the court with 6 aces, a service point and had 2 assists. Maddie Walters fired in 3 aces and 4 service points.
Kaitlyn Brisson drilled in 5 kills, 4 service points and 2 aces for West Bladen. Makayla Wright knocked in 3 kills, and Shanya Hunter knocked in 2 aces and 2 service points. Marlene Crabtree added 1 kill.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights concluded their season with an 8-4 record in the SAC-7 and a 11-6 overall mark.
