WHITEVILLE – Whiteville defeated West Bladen 2-0 Wednesday in non-conference junior varsity volleyball action by set scores of 25-13 and 25-7.
Freshman Marlie Walters hammered in 2 kills, 3 blocks and an ace for the Lady Knights. Maddie Walters fired in 3 service points, and Harmony Jacobs slammed in 2 kills.
Kylie Durden contributed 2 service points and a dig, and Shanyla Hunter matched Durden’s totals with 2 service points and a dig. Marlene Crabtree smashed in a kill.
The Lady Knights, now 6-4, will host St. Pauls Monday.
