East Bladen grad Kyle Tatum is among the leading hitters for the Brunswick Community College Dolphins baseball team. Tatum batted 2-6 with 2 runs scored Sunday in a 12-7 win over Paul D. Camp CC.

Tatum was 2-6 with a run batted in as the Dolphins dropped a 9-8 decision to USC-Sumter on March 12th. The sophmore left fielder slugged a home run and a double, batted 3-4, drove in 3 runs and scored 4 in a 9-8 win over Pitt Community on March 10th.

The Elizabethtown native is third on the team with a .313 batting average, second in hits with 21 and leads the team in runs scored with 22. Tatum has knocked in 15 runs with 2 doubles, 2 triples and the home run. He has walked 15 times and has 13 stolen bases, a .460 on-base percentage and a .448 slugging percentage.

The Dolphins own an 11-4 record in Region X and have posted a 19-5 overall mark.
